En la ciudad de Salta se encuentra el Santuario De La Inmaculada Madre Del Divino Corazón Eucarístico De Jesús.
Este santuario está en el barrio de Tres Cerritos, en uno de sus cerros, en la zona norte de la ciudad. Se llega a este sitio desde las calles Los Carolinos y Los Crespones, del mencionado barrio. Lleva diez minutos aproximadamente llegar en vehículo desde el centro de la ciudad. Este es un camino vehicular -angosto y con curvas muy cerradas- que tras recorrer un kilómetro y medio por la quebrada entre dos cerros, permite llegar por la parte de atrás - cara este del cerro- hasta tres cuartas partes de la cima donde se puede estacionar los vehículos para concluir el último tramo a pié por las sendas peatonales especialmente preparadas a través del cerro.
Desde la cima de este cerro, a aproximadamente 350 metros de altura, se puede apreciar toda la Ciudad de Salta.
La Ermita construida en honor de la Santísima Virgen María bajo la advocación de Inmaculada Madre del Divino Corazón Eucarístico de Jesús, se realizó con el trabajo de servidores y de peregrinos que concurrían al lugar. La entronización de la Santísima Virgen fue el 8 de diciembre de 2001.
En la construcción se utilizaron piedras y lajas del mismo lugar. La mano de obra fue la de los servidores y peregrinos que allí concurrían y ofrecían su trabajo para que se cumpla con el pedido de la Santísima Virgen.
En la actualidad el Santuario dispone de estacionamientos para vehículos, caminos de accesos adecuados tanto vehicular como peatonal, servicios médicos y sanitarios, grupos de seguridad y comodidades para 10.000 peregrinos alrededor de la Ermita. También se reparten gratuitamente estampas, rosarios y no se aceptan limosnas ni objetos de valor, como tampoco se permite ningún tipo de comercio o venta.
Desde el año 2001, por pedido de la Santísima Virgen María, la señora María Livia Galliano de Obeid realiza la Oración de Intercesión.
Los días sábados, 200 servidores de la Inmaculada Madre del Divino Corazón Eucarístico de Jesús trabajan desde muy temprano, cubriendo las distintas áreas y cumpliendo las funciones necesarias para que la jornada se desarrolle en perfecta armonía, silencio y oración. No se permite el ingreso de vehículos ruidosos, respetando de esta manera el silencio, recogimiento y oración, que son características de este lugar.
Visitas al cerro:
Lunes a Viernes, Domingos y Feriados: de 08:00 a 18:00 hs.
Sábados: de 08:00 a 14:00 hs. La Jornada de Oración de los días sábados habitualmente termina al anochecer, cuando el último de los peregrinos que así lo desee ha recibido la Oración de Intercesión por parte de la Sra. María Livia.
Horarios: de 8:00 a 18:00 horas.
El ingreso al interior del Santuario es gratuito.
